SUSAN LARSSON PHOTOGRAPHY

Susan grew up in the land of meatballs and IKEA also known as Sweden. In a medium sized town called Västerås. 

 

She always had a fascination for photography from a very young age, so pursuing a career in photography seemed like a natural thing to do.

 

After graduating from Media Communication school she set her course to her mothers homeland, the Philippines, where she continued to study, picking up Digital Filmmaking in Cebu.

A year later, completing her filmmaking course she moved to her mothers home province in Camarines sur. While working remotely for an Australian company editing documentaries,  she discovered and developed a great fondness the sport of wakeskating. Being surrounded by athletes on daily basis at the wakeboard park, she grew a strong interest for sports photography.

Later on she decided to move to Manila to pursue wedding photography. A field which she has been working in since 2016 to present day, shooting more than 200 weddings.

Aside from working as a a photographer, she is also an athlete being part of the Philippine national team. Competing internationally and locally since 2011, one of her most recent competitions was the 2019 SEAGAMES where she took home gold for womens professional wakeskate.
